Turkey Throw Down | Pre-feast Workout

TORQ Boot camp bannerMURRIETA, CANovember 22, 2015 – TORQ F1T is hosting a free boot camp-style sweat session for the community on November 26 at 7:00 AM Thanksgiving morning at their location on 24620 Jefferson Ave. Suite A, Murrieta, California off Kalmia.

According to research from the Calorie Control Council, the average American may consume more than 4,500 calories and a whopping 229 grams of fat during a typical Thanksgiving gathering – jump starting weight gain.

The Turkey Throw Down Pre-Feast Workout session is meant to burn calories, deplete muscle glycogen, and ramp up metabolism to allow participants to enjoy some of the indulgences of Thanksgiving in moderation without guilt or setbacks.

“We believe in giving back to our community during the holiday season. Over 28 percent of our society are affected by obesity and we want to be part of the revolution that takes action to slow it down,” said Erin Normoyle, CEO and Founder.

Currently, Michelle’s Place is one of the only facilities in Riverside County offering free mammograms and other diagnostic services to women under 40 years old. There is currently no state or local funding to provide uninsured women under 40 with breast health care. Michelle’s Place is filling that need.
